THE FOUNDER'S JOURNEY
Why I Created This Guide
For years, flying wasn't something I could just enjoy — it was something I had to endure.
The pressure would build during takeoff, sometimes before I even realized what was happening. And like many people, I tried the usual advice… but it didn't always work.
What stayed with me wasn't just the discomfort — it was the question: Why does this happen, and why isn't there a better way to deal with it? Pressure is not the problem. How you meet it is.
That question led me to research and, eventually, to building solutions through Aero Balance Innovations.

What to Do Before, During, and After Your Flight
Why Pressure Builds Before You Expect It
Most people think ear pressure only happens on descent. In reality, it can start building the moment cabin pressure shifts during takeoff — often before you've even noticed.
What your ears are actually trying to do
Your ears are working to equalize pressure between the outside air and your inner ear. When that process gets interrupted, that's when discomfort sets in.
Why common advice doesn’t always work
Chewing gum, yawning, swallowing — you've tried all of it. These tricks work for mild cases, but they don't address why pressure builds in the first place.
What to do before discomfort starts
The real fix isn't reacting once your ears hurt — it's knowing what to do in the minutes before pressure builds, so you're ahead of it instead of behind it.
